Mr. Dam Kimsan has been an educator and leader for innovative learning for nearly two decades and holds the position as the deputy principal in local curriculum- secondary school (DPLC-SS), formerly known an Khmer General Education Program (K.GEP), from 2022.

My name is Huoy Kim Sroeun, a Master’s Degree in Education. I’m excited to greet and acknowledge all of beloved students through creative curriculum that encourages students to learn while having fun and to be successful in the upcoming school year.
I have involved my life to the education sector more than 22 years ago, and I started working as a High School Level teacher in a public school, have been worked as a Vice Principal University. At the moment, I am working as the principal of the Kampong Thom branch of SMARTKIDS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL for approximately five years.
My background has influenced the educational and pedagogical approaches I use to facilitate students’ to be active participation in the classroom and beyond. I passionately realized that students can initially take on challenging roles, additionally set clear curriculum, learning environment, extra program, and learning with 4Cs (Communication, Collaboration, Critical thinking and Creativity) of 21st century.
To sum up, I strongly believe that I will provide students to explore their unique style of learning and assist students to learn with their capacity through the challenge project.

Khat Kimnea holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from a local university. Before joining SmartKids in 2013, Khat Kimnea, was as a teacher in Wat Svay High School.

Mr. Kong Kimry had been a deputy principal for SIS’ local curriculum (LC), known as Khmer General Education Program (K.GEP) from April 2014 to July 2022 before his current position as the senior technical advisor (STA) which commences from 2023.
As a STA, Mr. Kong Kimry shares his invaluable experiences and technically advises team for effective implement and better improvement within local curriculum.
Mr. Kong Kimry holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from a local university. Before joining SmartKids, he had been a deputy principal at a public school, Angkor high school. He was a teacher of mathematics for two languages at Angkor High School, a mathematics teacher at the Ten January 1979 high school, and at many other educational workplaces.

Miss Chhean Makara has been an educator and a leader in the innovative educational environment for more than ten years. Before joining SmartKids in 2022, Leng Chantha worked as Head of Department and Senior English Lecturer at Build Bright University and had also been engaging in many educational research workplaces.
Deputy Director General in General Affairs (DDGGA)
Nav Chantha has been an educator, school co-founder, leader and initiative for innovative learning for nearly two decades.
As the DDGGA, Mr. Chantha assists the Director General oversees the effective implementation and development of curriculum and school policies of SmartKids International School campuses, in Siem Reap, Kompong Thom and Phnom Penh. Chantha works in partnership with departments, communities, teachers, staff, parents and students to ensure that SmartKids maintains high academic standards and a safe and environmental friendly for in all campuses.
As an initiative in education, Chantha directed the major development of curriculum by integrating Mandarin Chinese, STREAM and Online Class Learning into English General Education Program in 2014, 2017 and 2020, respectively. He also led SmartKids to sign MOU with Da Li University, China in 2018.
Mr. Chantha holds a Bachelor of Education in English Literature, a Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality in Tourism Management and a Master of Business Administration in General Management from a local university. Before joining SmartKids in 2010, Chantha was a head teacher of Integrate Institute, a lecturer of English in Build Bright University and a senior lecture of Meanchey University.

Ou Leakhena holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance and a Master of Banking and Finance from a local university. Before joining SmartKids in 2022, Ou Leakhena, was a vice chief officer in academic and a lecturer of Accounting in Build Bright University.
Deputy Directress General (Siem Reap Campuses)
A bachelor holder and a master pursuer yet an accounting practitioner serval year both for different local businesses and self-employed, Ms. Pen Sokchann, now, plays a key role, the deputy directress general in Administration and Finance Department of SMARTKIDS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, all campuses in Siem Reap, Cambodia. She has been in the mentioned position since 2010.
Apart from the position, Sochann is a core founder and a shareholder of the company she is serving for.
Her main philosophy is “Students and Staff First!” and this is why she keeps participating and pushing with all school departments and beyond school stakeholders to ensure that students and staff are physically and mentally safe and prosperous in academic, socioemotional, and financial aspects.

Miss Long Phol Kontivea Thea is the Deputy Directress of Siem Reap Campuses at SMARTKIDS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, with responsibilities in the Finance Office (FO) for campus 1, 3, and 6A in Siem Reap, Cambodia. She assumed this position in August 2023.
Tivea holds a diploma and an internship for the Bachelor of Professional Accounting at Macquarie University, Australia. She has also been an accounting practitioner for various small business enterprises in Australia and served as an online accountant officer for SIS since 2021.
Her financial philosophy revolves around the belief that “Good debt can improve a company’s financial situation, but the ultimate goal is to have no debt owed to any stakeholders.” To achieve this, she meticulously monitors the school’s financial performance throughout each month.
Another important piece of advice she imparts is to ‘owe nothing to staff.
