Window of Opportunity

Our “Window of Opportunity” program equips 6th grade and above students with beyond-academic knowledge and benefits, also facilitating international learning journeys.

This window opens the adult world for students in International and Local curriculum, grade 6 up, from which they earn beyond school knowledge, monetary, and non-monetary benefits through profit or nonprofit council or clubs. The profit, with the total budget USD 3000 (three thousand USD) per academic year, is for teenpreneur, freelance marketers, media content developers, and DIY talk show while the non-profitable is for the student council and clubs regarding sport, community volunteers and reading & writing.

Further, through this window, students will meet reliable support from (JOLO) service unit in seeking ‘Journey overseas Learn Overseas’.

Teenpreneur

The club is to provide a way and guidance for students to meet virtually, share ideas and learn from others about what it takes to initiate and pursue their own business ownership dream. Students may request to take part in ECT (Entrepreneurship Community Tours) arranged by the club captain once per semester to experience being a trainer to community young children on ‘children’s education and businesses’ and earn a reasonable wage.

Freelance Marketer

The essential performance of the club is to provide students with a positive space where they can gain better knowledge of how to network with potential businesses or clients and to experience earning their-while studying income. Students will be trained concept of freelance marketing and how to start with it, assigned to roleplay, and encouraged to take parts in the school promotional events to gain concrete freelance marketing knowledge and to earn a reasonable freelance marketing fee.

Media Content Developer

The club provides guidance for students to learn what digital media content is, and how it is professionally. Students will be trained, assigned to research, and managed to develop content for the school to check if their digital media knowledge works and to make s a reasonable content fee.

DIY Talk Show

The main goal of the club is to provide a self-confident promotion platform for students.

The Student Council

This council is designed with precise roles of the council’s structure for students to have a chance to reach the expected outcome as stated below.

‘The Student Council Members will develop skills regarding ‘Teamwork, Innovation, Problem Solving, Flexibility, Global Knowledge, Perseverance & Resilience, Communication, Critical Intellectual, Civic Involvement, Leadership, and AI Ability.’

The Campus President
The roles of the campus President are to collect feedback from, build friendly relationships with, and represent the campus students at all meetings and decisions, coordinate recruiting a campus coordinator, ensure the campus student council works effectively, lead meetings within the campus student council structure at a certain campus on an arranged schedule, host term meetings with all in the structure, and propose emergency meetings with the school administrators.

The Campus Deputy President

The roles of the campus deputy president are to coordinate all the president’s roles, and to play all the campus president’s roles when s/he is on absent period.

The Campus Coordinator

The roles of the campus coordinator are to coordinate the recruiting of campus club captains, ensure the campus club captains work effectively, collect, and resolve issues reported by the club captains, build friendly and good relationships with, respond to the needs and requests of the club captains, and hosting term meetings with club captains.

The Campus Club Captains

The roles of the campus club captain are to supervise and coordinate the club’s tasks, host meetings with members once a month. The campus club captains are the captains of sport, community volunteer, reading & writing debate, teenpreneur, freelance marketers, media content developers, and TV-smart talk show.

Council Members

The roles of the council members are to assist and support all tasks of the Campus Student Council Structure as per task assigned by each level of the structure.

Sport

The main goal of the club is to provide a stress-reduced and physically developed place for students, where they have a great way to increase their social circle by meeting and interacting with new and existing members. Partaking in sport can boost their confidence as they learn new skills and move from a complete beginner to a competent player. Further, the club takes part in reducing screentime while allowing players to relax more with various sport activities.

Community Volunteer

This club offers its members a positive social place to interconnect, where they can produce numerous benefits for communities. They earn valuable soft skills such as- connecting to others, increasing social and relationship skills, increasing self-confidence, combating depression, staying physically healthy, fun and fulfilment to volunteers’ lives and more.

Debate

This club tends to improve students reading and writing as well as debating skills, from which students learn how to organize ideas and structure their arguments for a more convincing and understandable debate, to increase the ability to synthesize, to practice active listening and learn to analyze the position of others with respect and empathy, to advance research techniques and digital skills, to develop the ability to work in a team to achieve a common goal, to reinforce their communication skills and to increase their self-esteem and confidence when speaking in public.

Journey Overseas Learn Overseas (JOLO) Service Unit

This unit provides a reliable service for students who wish to study abroad at a certain grade level, especially the undergraduate level. We connect students through registered agents to provide a helping hand on students’ journey to becoming international students. The service highlights are choosing a study destination, choosing the right education providers and courses, registration and preparation for your English test, visa application support and homestay arrangement.
