Innovation & IELTS (I-IELTS) blends Entrepreneurship, Computer Science, Robotics, and IELTS preparation.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Through VentureLab, the US standard program, SIS offers Kidspreneurship from grades 1–6, Teenpreneurship from grades 7-12 for students in an international curriculum a comprehensive entrepreneurship program. It covers key topics “Entrepreneurship Concept, Creativity, Idea Generation, Market Research, Opportunity Analysis, Design Thinking, Prototyping, Business Modeling, and Pitching” to fostering practical business skills.
COMPUTER SCIENCE
Through Tynker, the US standard program, SIS offers Kid-Coding courses on Saturdays for students from grades 1–6 in Local or International Curriculum. The courses range from block coding to basic Python programming to building a strong foundation in computational thinking, problem-solving, and STEM education.
ROBOTICS
Through Stick’ Em, the Singapore standard, SIS offers Teen-Robotics courses for students from grade 7 and up in the international curriculum, transitioning from built-in coding to Python. These programs foster STEAM education by combining hands-on learning with advanced programming skills, encouraging innovation and problem-solving.
IELTS PREPARATION
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS-British-based standard, co-owned by Cambridge Assessment English, British Council, and IDP: IELTS Australia) is to enable students in IELTS8-IELTS12 course at SmartKids to earn band scores between 6.5 to 9 that are accepted as proof of English language ability at thousands of universities, colleges and workplaces around the world, and also by immigration authorities in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK.
